Blackfeet Manpower One-Stop Station

                    Director of Blackfeet Manpower One-Stop Center, located at 409 N. Piegan Street, in Browning, MT, is a Montana State certified “One-Stop”.  The agency provides employment and training opportunities to persons living within or near the boundaries of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, as well as programs of assistance to people living at or below poverty level.  The organizations main objectives are to increase occupational skill attainment, improve the quality of the workforce, reduce welfare dependency, enhance the productivity of the Blackfeet Nations economy, and secure a degree of self-sufficiency which meets each individuals personal requirement for health, well-being and quality of life.  These services are provided within context of Blackfeet culture and with respect to unique Blackfeet needs.

The organization operates the Montana Indian Language grant which makes it possible to have this website in order to reach many more people.  Please feel free to contact our Blackfeet Language Instructor, Marvin Weather Wax Sr for any questions in regards to the lessons or materials you will find on this site.  

The Organization is now providing Blackfeet Language classes at the Blackfeet Manpower Training Center Mon-Thurs from 8:30-9:30am.
